So I stumble downstairs in the dark
Power up the computer
Check the school web site and find
TWO HOUR DELAY
FRIDAY, JANUARY 18
Now, thinking that is great news, I wake Willa up, only to prompt thrashing and pillow punching and the AAAGGGGRRRRHHH sound.
Why?
Because apparently this means that the mid-terms that began yesterday will now not be completed until the week of January 28th (next week is Regents week) and all the psych, all the studying all the prep and all the anxiety will have to start over again.
Sorry hon, I thought a two hour delay would be GOOD news ...
... she tiptoes off to work ....
