Here she is folks, live from Baltimore!
One full morning of driving, one full afternoon of corporate bull@#$@ and a good motivational speaker ... perhaps you've heard him talk about his PRIEMIER organization?
Then a coctail hour which I skipped to check into the hotel...dinner in an Italian restaurant and then a quick stop for a drink with some colleagues. Now at 10:50 PM I am fried, sleepy and not a little lonely.
Is it sappy that I miss my family? Well, I do, like it or not!
So, I never told you about that hummingbird ... want to hear it?
Last week:
Me: "honey, when should we think about hanging the hummingbird feeder?"
Honey: I don't know, soon, I think. When did they come back last year?"
Me: "Early May I think."
Us Sunday morning having coffee before church:
"Look!" - - - (It's the male RubyThroated Humming Bird, hovering outside the kitchen window where the feeder usually hangs all summer, but is not yet hanging)
"I guess it's time to fill and hang the feeder"
Just then the petite little bird comes directly at our kitchen window, hovering and peering in at about two inches from the glass as if to say "HELLO?! It's Spring! Where's the sugar-water?
So of course, being compliant nature lovers that we are, Birding Dad quickly resurrects the feeder from the basement, mixes up some sugar water, hangs it and within 10 minutes Mr and Mrs hummer are back, happily drinking away.

Again, God is in His Heaven and all is right with the world.
