High School

So there we sat, us, the parents of Birding Girl in the High School auditorium last night ... why ?
(insert horror-movie sountrack music here)
High School Orientation for 8th Grade Parents
the schedules, the credits, the courses, Regents, Advanced Regents, SATs, ACTs, Graduation, College ... AGGGHHHH!
If you think the thought of High School scares kids ... you should know how I feel right now!
The High School principal closed the meeting with these words

"It was good to see you all out tonight, now close your eyes, and when you open them we'll all be standing on the graduation field in 2011! See you there."
