      Bed or Couch?

No, what you think I'm asking in NOT what I'm asking.
      The question is this:
When there is a perfectly good bed upstairs (and even a TV in the bedroom) Why, oh why do we ALWAYS fall asleep on the couch ... wake up and some ridiculous hour and crawl up to bed and under the covers?

...especially when this involves turning down the heat, letting the dogs our, shutting off lights, feeding the pet turtle, setting up the coffee for the morning, unloading and folding the clothes that are now cold and lying in the dryer .... at which time we are WIDE AWAKE and have trouble getting back to sleep?
Do you do this too? Or is it just a dysfunction of this particular family?

To be outspoken when truth is under attack, when charity is being bruised, or when important issues of life are at stake is a good and courageous thing. To be outspoken when nothing is at stake except the feelings of someone else is a small and contemptible thing. ~ Lawrence G. Lovasik (The Hidden Power of Kindness)
