What we did with our weekend.

Well, of course we attended the town parade. All five of us (I'm the one behind the camera)
At the Parade Memorial Day 2006 (2).JPG
You can click to enlarge the photo - in case the dogs don't look big enough for you.
      What else did we do?

      Went out for Ice Cream
Took the dogs for a walk in town (disastrous - see last entry)
Went to the American Legion B-B-Q, mostly to support my dad, a WWII veteran, and of course, a grandpa who loves to show off his granddaughter.
Took the dogs down to the creek for a swim.
Ate outside on the deck - as often as my allergies could stand it.
      Cursed the tree pollen.
Birding Dad took us to his new favorite store Tractor Supply (whee!)
Although - I did find on their website that they have a very cool backyard birding link. Go check it out!

To be outspoken when truth is under attack, when charity is being bruised, or when important issues of life are at stake is a good and courageous thing. To be outspoken when nothing is at stake except the feelings of someone else is a small and contemptible thing. ~ Lawrence G. Lovasik (The Hidden Power of Kindness)
