received a comment yesterday from a friend that simply said "miss you".
sorry - I know I neglect this site terribly. The truth is I am completely overwhelmed with work, and family and the dogs and the house and the laundry and the $$$ situation (lack thereof).
Further, I am so tied to my computer at work - and with such intensity anymore, that when I do get home, and if I do get near my computer - the only thing I have the energy or desire to do is play (Spider) solitaire. (did I ever tell you that I am addicted to that game?).
Why? Because it requires very little thought, and only a short attention span. I can talk with others, even on the phone and still play. It is my escape ... and no ... I do not even HAVE the game on my computer at work, for three reasons:
      1) of course it is not allowed
      2) I simply don't have the time
      3) I am aware of the dangers of my addictive nature :~) when it comes to Spider Solitaire.
So now ... I think I will make the effort to blog from my laptop - while sitting with the family in the living room appearing to be watching TV.
Let's see if this works, as I do miss it, and I do miss everyone out there.

To be outspoken when truth is under attack, when charity is being bruised, or when important issues of life are at stake is a good and courageous thing. To be outspoken when nothing is at stake except the feelings of someone else is a small and contemptible thing. ~ Lawrence G. Lovasik (The Hidden Power of Kindness)
