1) The Braces ...
She was a trooper, and as I sat there watching her I was proud ... and a little overwhelmed at where the past 12 years have gone. Here she is in all her braced glory (and a little leftover makeup after hanging out at home with a girlfriend all day) Smile!
2) The Job ...
We're still SOLD and we're still not sure of all the details of the new company. We only know that they bought our name, and our programs and that a large percentage of the employees will remain. Still, whether one thinks THEY will be in that percentage or not ... any loss will be hard ... we have gone through so many changes this past year ... and any more will take us even further away from the "Way it used to be". Closing is scheduled for June 1st ... I'll update by then I'm sure.
3) Today is my little sister's birthday ... well, yesterday I guess, as this will probably be finished and posted some time in the morning. I am missing her terribly this year ... although she has lived in Tennessee (or other parts of the "south") for over fifteen years now (maybe more)... Anyway since she doesn't have a weblog ~ shout out a Happy Birthday to her here and I'll see that she gets it! Thanks!
4) I am still in the process of making an "album" for the sidebar with photos from the school play "Suessical the Musical". Check back for the link to the photos ~ and at the same time I'll start an album for the "fence" project.
